The Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians will resume their monthly meetings on Monday, September 13, 2021, in Conesa Hall at Prince of Peace.

This year Prince of Peace is excited to announce that we will be offering a Family Faith Formation program for the children of our parish. There will be two methods of catechesis this year depending on the program needed by the child.

Last week all of the leaders of the various ministries met to discuss the next steps of starting back up. Since the pandemic shut down the parish and ministries in 2020, a lot of things have changed.

Next to the doors in the church are upgraded automated holy water dispensers that will now only dispense a few drops of water in order to bless yourself upon entering and exiting the church.

Prince of Peace would like to extend a special thank you to Gloria Hosek for generously restoring the statue of Jesus in our Prayer Garden.

The powerful ministry of the Seven Sisters Apostolate will begin its inaugural year at Prince of Peace starting with a special blessing on September 8th at the 8:00 A.M. Mass.

During the week of June 14, 2021, the members of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops voted overwhelmingly to issue a teaching document on the beauty and power of the Eucharist. Recent news articles have unfortunately resulted in much confusion over the matter, and the planned document has been viewed by many to be a political statement rather than a teaching tool.

On Saturday, June 12th, 2021, 49 Prince of Peace Parishioners, including Father Kovanis, officially completed their 33 weeks of spiritual reflection and physical exertion dedicated to the Camino de Santiago Trail (Walk of St. James) in Spain.

Every month on the first Monday Prince of Peace offers the Sacrament of Anointing of the sick. To organize and make the process easier we have moved to an online sign up form.
