All parishioners are invited to join Father Tim and attend Mary’s Helpers’ next meeting: Thursday, OCTOBER 2 after Mass at 9 a.m. TOPIC: OUR LADY OF ZEITOUN LOCATION: Rooms 1 and 2 CONESA CENTER Our Lady appeared in Zeitoun, Egypt, over a period of three years from 1968-1971. It is arguably one of the most observed Marian apparitions in history. By some accounts, 250,000 went nightly to the site to catch a glimpse of the Blessed Virgin. Both the Coptic Church and the Vatican approved this apparition. Yet, is often overlooked. This month, we will hear what Fr. Chris Alar and Jimmy Akin have to say about the history of this site and why Mary appeared there. Come for fellowship and learn about this significant Marian apparition of the 20th Century.
